Adam Mascherin named OHL Player of the Month

 

The Ontario Hockey League announced today that Kitchener Rangers winger and Florida Panthers prospect Adam Mascherin has been named the OHL Player of the Month for January.

In 12 games played in the month of January, Mascherin registered five goals and 17 assists for 22 points and was held off the score sheet just once, tallying at least a point in eleven games. Of those eleven, eight were multi-point games, while three were three-point performances.

The 18-year-old, Maple, ON native leads the Rangers in goals, assists and points this season, and sits second in the OHL’s point scoring race. He heads into Wednesday night’s action with 78 points on the season including 30 goals, which he has reached for the second straight season.
