Six Kitchener Rangers off to NHL camps

 

Six Kitchener Rangers are off to get a taste of life in the pros as they partake in five NHL team camps.

Connor Hall (3rd round, 77th overall; 2016) and Connor Bunnaman (4th round, 109th overall: 2016) are off to Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers camps, respectively. Adam Mascherin (2nd round, 38th overall; 2016), however, is still recuperating from off-season shoulder surgery and will not attend Florida Panthers camp.

Logan Stanley (1st round, 18th overall; 2016) will participate in Winnipeg Jets camp, as well Swede Rickard Hugg by way of free agent invite.

Other free agent invites from the Rangers are goaltender Luke Richardson who will attend Boston Bruins camp, and Greg Meireles who will venture to St. Louis and partake in Blues’ camp. Goaltender Luke Opilka (5th round, 146th overall; 2015) is also recovering from off-season hip surgery and will not participate in camp.
