The Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced that the team has completed a trade with the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.

In the deal the Rangers acquired the Majors 45th Overall Selection in the 2009 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. In return Kitchener sends a 5th round pick in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League Draft.
