Eminger Signs Deal With Captials

Kitchener, ON: The Washington Capitals announced today that they have come to terms with 1st round pick (12th overall) D Steve Eminger on a three year deal.

Eminger had two penalty minutes in five preseason games and was the last draft pick in camp for the Capitals.

The 6-2, 200-pound Toronto-area native was chosen 12th overall after ranking fifth in scoring among Ontario Hockey League defensemen last season with 19 goals and 39 assists in 64 games.

The Rangers next home is Friday, October 11th vs the Erie Otters. Game time at the Aud is 7:30 pm.
