The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club is proud to announce the details for Hockey Day in Rangers Nation 2013, which will take place on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
Now in its third year, Hockey Day in Rangers Nation aims to engage the region’s 10-year-old Major Atom house league hockey players, providing them the opportunity to participate in a Rangers Game Day Experience.
Fourteen house league teams from around the Waterloo Region will experience what it is like to be a Kitchener Ranger and play a full game against a team from outside of their own house league. Hockey Day in Rangers Nation is an annual event that is offered at no cost to the teams or players. Participating teams also have the opportunity to purchase group tickets for the Rangers’ home game against the Owen Sound Attack that evening.
When teams arrive on Hockey Day in Rangers Nation, they are greeted by their very own dressing room attendant. The game-day experience continues with pre-game introductions and full use of The Aud’s centre ice video board. Following their game, each player receives a gift package and post-game meal. Later that day, players can re-live their day as Hockey Day highlights are broadcast on the centre ice video scoreboard as the Rangers play host to Owen Sound.
Hockey Day in Rangers Nation is limited to 14 teams that will be selected through a lottery process.
Deadline for submission is now closed.
