OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Bauer brings fans insight from feature guests as well as news and notes from around the league each and every week over the airwaves.
This week’s guest on the show is Los Angeles Kings prospect Jacob Ingham of the Kitchener Rangers. The 6-foot-4, fourth-year OHL goaltender has played to an 11-3-2-1 record over 17 games with the Rangers this season.
Ingham discusses the Rangers’ current seven-game winning streak under interim head coach Mike McKenzie. He also elaborates on a recent injury that kept him out of the lineup for most of the month of November and his 5-0 performance with a 1.94 goals-against average and .939 save percentage since returning.
Ingham also covers his #JakeSaves initiative with the Rangers this season and corresponding choice of the jersey number 68 as an ambassador with the Hockey Gives Blood community. He shares a personal story about his grandparents’ serious car accident that required blood transfusions to save his grandmother’s life and how this has motivated him to speak to the cause ever since.
