Kitchener Rangers Penalty Kill Donation for the Smilezone Foundation totals $2,070

The Kitchener Rangers are proud to announce that this year’s Kitchener Rangers Penalty Kill Donation, courtesy of Heffner Toyota, totaled $2,070 in support of the Smilezone Foundation.

For every successful Rangers penalty kill during the 2019/20 regular season, Heffner Toyota contributed $10 towards the total donation.

This season, the Rangers’ penalty-kill ranked seventh overall in the Ontario Hockey League; successfully overcoming 207 of 258 total short-handed situations (80.2%).

The donation will support the Smilezone Foundation’s work transforming waiting rooms, treatment rooms, and patient care rooms into bright, comforting, and engaging spaces for children and their families while spending time in a hospital or medical facility.
