The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club held their Annual Awards Banquet on Monday, March 17 in the Ballroom at Bingemans in Kitchener.

Ben Fanelli was awarded three of the evening’s honours, including Most Popular Player, Best Defensive Ability and the Ted Scharf Humanitarian Award.

Awards were presented as followed:

Ted Scharf Award presented by Kitchener Sports Association (Community Service) – Ben Fanelli

Kitchener Rangers Most Popular Player – Ben Fanelli

Herchenrader Family Trophy (Best Defensive Ability) – Ben Fanelli

Les Bradley Memorial Award (Most Improved Player) – Darby Llewellyn

Jim McGeachie Memorial Trophy (Outstanding Team Effort) – Curtis Meighan

Bob “Snowy” Schlieman Award (Best Offensive Defenseman) – Max Iafrate

Michael Pappert Memorial Trophy (Rookie of the Year) – Ryan MacInnis and Nick Magyar

Blueline Club Trophy (Most Gentlemanly Player) – Curtis Meighan

Jim Malleck Memorial Trophy (Most Valuable Player) – Justin Bailey

Jim Reilly Trophy (Scoring Champion) – Nick Magyar

Harold Gowing Memorial Trophy (Most Improved KMHA Player) – Logan Schmidt
