The Kitchener Rangers are coming off a solid weekend, which saw them acquire 4 of a possible 6 points against Western Conference rivals. This weekend, the Rangers will play 3 games in 3 days. The sole home game of the weekend takes place Friday against the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors. Game time is 7:30pm at The Aud. Saturday, the team heads for Belleville to take on the Eastern Conference-leading Bulls. Sunday, the Rangers wrap up the trip with an afternoon game in Brampton at 2:00pm.

The Kitchener Rangers are coming off a solid weekend, which saw them acquire 4 of a possible 6 points against Western Conference rivals.

  • Thursday in Sarnia, the Sting defeated the Rangers 5-4.r
  • Friday in Kitchener, the Rangers grabbed 2 points in a 4-3 win over the Windsor Spitfires.r
  • Sunday in Kitchener, the Rangers overcame a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Owen Sound Attack 5-3.r

This weekend, the Rangers will play 3 games in 3 days.

  • Friday in Kitchener, against the Toronto St. Michael’srMajors. Game time is 7:30pm at The Aud. St. Mike’s is led by two local 17-year-old players … Kitchener native Kevin Klein and Cambridge native Tim Brent. Brent currently leads the Majors with 23 points.r
  • Saturday in Belleville, against the Eastern Conferencerleading Bulls. The Bulls line-up includes 3 of the 5 point-getters in the OHL … Nathan Robinson, Mike Renzi and Kyle Wellwood.r
  • Sunday in Brampton, against the Battalion.

The Rangers, now 8-4-3, are currently 3rd in the Midwest Division, just a single point out of 1st place.

The Rangers line-up will feature a new look this week, as newly acquired winger Adam Keefe will make his debut. The Rangers sent Sam Skwarchuk and Travis Chapman to the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for Keefe, and a 5th round pick in the 2003 OHL Priority Selection.

Keefe, a native of Brampton, is in his 2nd OHL season. He was selected in the 2nd round of the 2000 OHL Priority Selection. The 1984-born right-winger is listed at 5’10” and 180 pounds. “We liked him in the 2000 Draft when we were with Plymouth. He’s a hard worker … someone who will show up to play each and every night … a real hard nosed kid.”

Friday’s game is Rogers VIP Night. Every time the Rangers score Rogers Television will present one lucky fan with a new 20″ TV!
